heat

heat in physics, is energy which is spontaneously flowing from an object with a high temperature to an object with a lower temperature.

  • The unit of heat is calori, in SI is joule.
  • Definiton of one calorie the amount of heat energy to raise the temperature of 1 degree celsius of 1 gram of water.
1 calori = 4, 2 Joule
1 Joule = 0, 24 calori
The quantity of heat transferred to a matter is depand on :
1. mass of an object
2. spesific heat of matter
3. temperatur of matter
Mathematical formula :
Q = m. c. ΔT
m =Mass (Kg)
c = Spesific heat of matter (joue/kg0 C)
ΔT = Change of temperature (0C)
Q = Quantity of heat (Joule)
